A Hyderabadi
institution, since 1972.
Born from a parent's love — Apho and Akung opened a small Chinese kitchen to educate their children. Liu Tadd Chong joined in 1980 and still carries that promise in every wok.
When Indo-Chinese wasn't yet a craze, Haiking already was. A Hakka family taught Hyderabad to dine out — crimson walls, bone china gravies, and flavours adapted just enough for local palates.
The flagship still stands on University Road, ever so slightly worn — that's the charm regulars mention. Inside, the curries are cooked without artificial colours, the portions are generous, and the service is unhurried. Over three branches now — Himayatnagar, Jubilee Hills (Opp. Nature's Basket, Road No.36) and Financial District — but every plate still carries the 1972 recipe discipline. Order the Fish Fingers, Honey Chicken, Chilli Prawns and Haiking Special Noodles if it's your first time; regulars won't let you miss them.
